Pediatric Speech and Language Center accepts medical insurance plans. If you choose not to use your medical insurance, financial arrangements are available including self-pay options as well as a payment sliding scale based on family income. We are a family based practice and our mission is to provide the care that children deserve with affordable options. - Expressive vocabulary of 5-50 words
- Starting to use word combinations (me go)

- Imitating nouns that others around them use
- Use jargon (babble) mixed with real words
2-4 years
- Sentences are three or more words long
- Uses pronouns “I, me, mine”
- May use two languages if bilingual
- Start to recognize written language
- Expressive language from 200-2,000 words
- Understand complex 2-3 step commands
- Family understands at least 90% of what child says
